Transition to on-campus learning
As we approach the transition to on-campus learning, we wanted to assure families they will have the flexibility to change their choices throughout the school year.
Both remote off-campus learning and on-campus learning will be offered for the 2020-21 school year, for as long as health conditions allow. After the phase-in period, if a family decides to transition from remote off-campus learning to on-campus learning, they must first communicate with their campus. The request will be accommodated as soon as possible, but not to exceed five school days. If a family decides to transition from on-campus to remote off-campus learning; a transition period will not be required after parents/guardians communicate their decision with their campus. All teaching and learning models will be adjusted as needed based on guidance from federal, state and local governing bodies and local health conditions.

Parent Cloud Account
In order to access student's grades, attendance and assignments in BLEND, families need to set up their Parent Cloud accounts. Families can ask their school office staff to send a “FastPass” email to the primary email address on file, or they can click on the "Parent Cloud Account Creation" button at my.austinisd.org. Families can also contact the Parent Support line for assistance at 512-414-9187, Option 6.
BLEND is the official online starting point for all K-12 students. Teachers will share important class information, assignments and other digital resources through BLEND.
Once the parent cloud account is set up, log into the AISD Portal: https://portal.austinisd.org/

AISD is excited to bring virtual pediatricians to campus health rooms through a partnership with Virtual Care for Families. When families register their student online for the 2020-21 school year at https://my.austinisd.org, they have the ability to consent to participate in the telehealth program. If you have completed online registration without consenting to participate and would now like to consent, please contact us at health@austinisd.org for assistance.
