Greetings Stallion Family,
After a challenging 2020-2021 school year for all, I am thrilled to welcome back our scholars for the 2021-2022 school year. Our theme this year is #unleashyoursuperpower!
It is my hope that our students, parents and community members found time to enjoy family, relax and unplug. This is going to be a very exciting year and we are looking forward to seeing our students and families in person. Our faculty and staff are working to ensure we are ready to welcome scholars back and provide quality learning environments that will lead to the success of all scholars. We are focused on #SuperStallionSuccess this school year and look forward to all the great things to come here at Smith Elementary. Again, welcome back and I look forward to an exciting school year!

My name is Mrs. Stamps, I am your School Counselor and SEL Champion!
As counselor and champion, I look forward to serving and assisting all students in their quest for academic and emotional success. My goal is to support and celebrate daily accomplishments of all Smith Stallions.
With redefined boundaries and endeavors, this school year will be "A New Way Forward" for all staff and students. Therefore, we are required to demonstrate our Stallion Strength by running the race to a winning year with stamina and endurance.

REGISTRATION
Being able to contact families to ensure the success of our scholars is important. To ensure that contact information is updated, all parents must update their information. Beginning August 2, families must complete the Required Annual Update. This update may take place using the Home Access Center (HAC). Home Access Center / District Update
DRESS CODE
For this school year, Aldine ISD will not require standardized dress/uniform. Students are expected, per the district's adopted dress code, wear appropriate school attire. Face masks are optional for students, but if worn, they should be of solid color and free of political or disparaging statements. Dress Code Flier / Spanish
SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST
The 2021-2022 school supply list provides suggestive items to jump start the year. This list is generated specifically for each grade level. As the year progresses, teachers may request additional items as needed as the school year progresses.
BACK TO SCHOOL EXPO
To jumpstart the 2021-2022 school year, Aldine ISD is having its annual Back-To-School Expo. This event is FREE to the Aldine ISD community with students enrolled from Pre-K through high school. The Expo will take place at M.O. Campbell (1865 Aldine Bender Rd) Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. For more information, please click here.
MEET THE TEACHER TAILGATE - ORIENTATION
Smith's Meet The Teacher and Orientation will take place Wednesday, August 11, 2021, from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
