September Edition of HT Home & School Association Newsletter

Our first meeting of 2019 is Tuesday, September 24 in the Cafe starting at 6:30. The meeting will be an in depth explanation of Scrip and why it is important to school and families.

Please check out the newsletter in your home folders or by clicking on the pdf below. The Wreath & Poinsettia Sale will run from Sept. 20 – Oct 16, 2019. Delivery date is Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019. We have lots of fun events planned for this year and you won't want to miss a single one!

HT School Band for 5th through 8th Grade

Reminder - there is an informational meeting at St. Frances Cabrini, West Bend on Thursday, September 26 at 6:30 pm for 5th through 8th grade students interested in participating in band. A letter was sent home earlier this week. If you did not receive the letter or need another copy, please contact the school office at 262 626-2603.

Children's Choir at Weekend Mass

Calling all 3K through 5th Graders. If your child would be interested in participating in a children’s choir at the weekend Masses, please contact Jessica Herriges at herrigesjessica@gmail.com.

Looking For Volunteer Opportunities at Holy Trinity School?

We could use someone once weekly to re-shelve library books. This may take upwards of one hour.

Our Scholastic Book Fair will run from Nov. 8th-15th. We need a coordinator for the Book Fair, and volunteers to work shifts daily.

Recess could also use some volunteer supervisors, both morning (9:05-9:20) and lunch (11:30-12:20)

Life Lessons Happening at Lunch

Students have heard the words "self control" quite a bit at lunch this week. Our last five minutes are in silence. This is hard for some, but we are making progress. The ability to remain silent for the five minutes at the end of lunch is more than just an opportunity to eat. The ability to control one's actions is a life skill that will serve our students well as they move beyond our walls. Ask your student how they're doing with self control during the lunch period.

Kewaskum Food Pantry needs laundry detergent, toilet paper and juice

In honor of the feast day of St. Vincent de Paul, we are collecting laundry detergent, toilet paper and bottles of juice for the Kewaskum Food Pantry. Students will bring these items to the All School Mass on Friday, Sept. 27. The next time you are shopping, please consider getting a few extra items to donate.
