A Note from Hannah Cole Primary

We are so excited to invite you and your student into Hannah Cole Primary to learn more about your Kindergarten year and becoming part of the Pirate family!

Cruising into Kindergarten is there to help answer your questions and familiarize you with staff, the school building, procedures, and start the online registration process. To get off to the best possible start, take a look at the checklist below. Bringing in the proper documentation and completing checklist items would be great! If you need any help, you can give us a call during school hours or email hcp@bpsk12.net and we will be happy to answer questions or explain anything you need help with.

You may wonder if/when your child will receive a screening. In August, you will receive a link to sign-up for a screening on August 19th or August 20th. This will be done by a kindergarten teacher or other HCP staff member.

Online Enrollment in Boonville Schools

ONLINE ENROLLMENT FOR INCOMING KINDERGARTENERS WILL OFFICIALLY BE OPEN WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26TH.

You can complete online enrollment from home! However, you are still invited to attend this event to learn more about Hannah Cole Primary, tour classrooms and meet staff.

Before beginning online registration locate the following documents:

Proof of residency (utility bill, lease agreement, etc.)--this is required annually for ALL students & must be current within the last 60 days.
Your child's birth certificate
Most up-to-date immunizations & any health plans

If you have a child currently enrolled in any school in the district:

Locate your username and password for your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you have never logged on to the Parent Portal or you have forgotten your username or password, please email: sis.help@bpsk12.net
Once you log in to the Portal, navigate to More > Online Registration Update and then click the Start button in the New Student Registration section.

If you have a current HCP Preschool or ECSE student:

You do not need to take any action at this time.
You will update your child's enrollment through the Parent Portal later in the spring/early summer when all parents of currently enrolled students complete the annual update.

Other Important Info

It is important to share the following items with your child's school:

Legal/Custody Paperwork-- If there is a parenting plan or court order that pertains to your child, we need to have a copy of this on file in so we can follow these guidelines.
Medical Plans--If your child has a seizure, asthma or other health plan, this needs to be shared with our district nurse, Lainey Bird and building health aide, Morgan Keys.
IEP or Special Education paperwork--If your child has an IEP or has received therapies or services prior to beginning school, please share these so we can determine if your child needs to be evaluated to receive these services once in kindergarten.
