Class of 2025 Panoramic Picture-February 25, 2025
Kid Day-Friday, March 14, 2025
On this day, Seniors may come to school dressed in a costume similar to that worn on your first day of school. You do not need to dress in costume to participate in Kid Day activities although we do encourage it!
Seniors will go to their regular 1st-4th period classes. At 10:30 am, we will dismiss Seniors to the Competition Gym for the costume contest. Trophies will be awarded to Best Boy Costume, Best Girl Costume, Best Student Duo, Best Girl Duo, Best Boy Duo, and Best Trio and Best Group. After the costume contest, the class will meet on the football field to walk as a group to Morgan Park. You may not drive.
Lunch will be provided. You may also bring your own lunch. There will be absolutely NO FOOD DROP OFFS at the park.
If you would like a vegetarian option and/or you have a food allergy, please complete the survey below. If neither apply to you, you do not have to complete the survey.
At the park, the activities will consist of an Easter Egg Hunt (bring a basket or bag) and competitive games.
Around 2:30 pm the class will walk as a group back to school. You may not leave early. If you participate you must participate for the entire activity. NO EXCEPTIONS. In case of rain, Kid Day activities will conclude with contest judging in the competition gym around 12:30 pm and seniors will return to their normal schedule.
Project Graduation Bingo Night-Saturday, March 15, 2025
Senior Class Trip-Friday, April 4, 2025
Prom-Saturday, April 26, 2025
Prom will be held at Moody Gardens Hotel and Convention Center on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 7:00-11:00 pm.
All Juniors and Seniors are allowed to invite one guest. All attendees must purchase a ticket. Your guest must be of high school age and must not be older than 20 years of age. If your date does not attend AHS, you must turn in a non-AHS date form completed by their school at the time of ticket purchase. All non-AHS guests must present a valid photo id at check in at prom. No exceptions.
Prom Forms are available in CM 248 or any AP's office. Once you have been cleared by your AP, you will bring your stamped form to Ms. Tillery in CM 248 to purchase your ticket(s).
AHS Student Guidelines for Attending Dances:
1. No more than 4 days in ISS beginning October 1st.
2. No JJAEP/ADAPT Placements.
3. No more than 8 absences per semester (School absences do not count.)
4. No outstanding fines (must be paid in full)
5. No buying tickets for someone else or trading tickets.
Tickets went on sale on Monday, February 3, 2025. Tickets started at $70. Tickets will be on sale for $70 from February 3rd-March 7th. The price will increase to $80 on Monday, March 10, 2025. Tickets will be on sale for $80 from March 10th-April 10th. The price will increase to $90 on Monday, April 14, 2025. The last day to purchase tickets is Wednesday, April 23rd. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

All Seniors (not graduating Juniors) that are attending prom and are set to graduate in May are eligible to run for Prom King or Queen. Nomination forms will be available in CM 248 beginning April 7, 2025. All forms are to be turned in to Ms. Tillery in CM 248 by 3 pm on Thursday, April 17, 2025. Voting will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. The Prom King and Queen will be announced at prom at 9:00 pm.
Senior Walks-Friday, May 2, 2025
We are planning Senior Walks which will take place on May 2, 2025. We will be visiting the elementary schools in our feeder pattern. You can participate even if you did not attend elementary school in Alvin ISD. You will have to have your cap and gown - it is a requirement to attend.
If you would like to participate, please complete this form to let us know which elementary you would like to visit so that we can plan buses accordingly. You must complete this form in order to reserve a place on the bus. Completion of the form does not guarantee your participation. You must also stop by CM 248 and pick up a permission form in order to attend. Permission forms will be available on April 1st and are due by 3 pm on April 29th.
Senior Sunset-Tuesday, May 20, 2025
Graduation Information-Wednesday, May 21, 2025
Graduation Practice will be held at 9 am on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Graduation Practice is mandatory for all graduates that will be participating in the graduation ceremony. Graduation will take place on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 7:30 pm at Freedom Field at the Alvin ISD Heritage Complex. More information regarding graduation will be communicated soon.
Project Graduation
It is not too late to get involved with Project Graduation! All Class of 2025 Parents and Students are invited and encouraged to get involved with Project Graduation. Our next meeting is on March 11, 2025 at 7pm in the CM LGI.
What is Project Graduation? Project Graduation is an event that takes place the night of graduation following the graduation ceremony. The event provides our seniors with an opportunity to celebrate their achievements with their peers in a safe environment. All Senior Parents and Seniors are encouraged to get involved with Project Graduation. The Committee works hard all year to fundraise and prepare for the big event!
