What a week! Thank you to all of our students, families, faculty, and staff for being flexible and making adjustments this past week when asked to do so. Though we know some people love a good snow day, we are thankful that we have the option of virtual learning. Once again, we have been very pleased with how many of our students showed up and made it work!
Please make sure all virtual learning items are returned to school on Monday. This includes completed packets, Chromebooks AND CHARGERS, and hot spots.
The modified week has caused a few dates and deadlines to change. Please read below for new information:
UPDATE- this event was canceled due to weather concerns.Band Pie Auction & Concert will be held on Sunday, February 6 at LSE. The 5th grade band concert begins at 3:30 PM, students should arrive by 3:10 PM for warm-up.
Online ordering for yearbooks will close at 11:59 PM Friday (2/4). The office will accept paper order forms through Monday, February 7. Yearbooks will not be available for purchase beyond these deadlines.
The Pirate Run Club registration deadline has been extended to Wednesday, February 9. This program was new to our school last year and was wildly successful. We expect this year to be even better!
The 100 Days of School quarter drive has been extended to Tuesday, February 8. We have challenged each classroom to raise 100 quarters. The quarters will be used to give back to our community during the All Hands on Deck service project this spring. This will be our third year doing the quarter drive. It has been a wonderful way to teach our students "when we all give a little, we can change a lot".
The BHS Dance Team Mini-Me Camp has been rescheduled, details can be found below. The new registration deadline is Thursday, February 10.
