Day of the Dead
Students are invited to bring in a photo of someone dear to them who has died. This can be a relative, family pet, a grandparent, friend, or anyone who is special to your family. Please know that this holiday is a celebration of life and not associated with Halloween, ghosts, or anything scary! Photos can be turned in to their homeroom teacher by October 30th. These will be placed on our school-wide ofrenda (altar-like table) in honor of Día de los Muertos to remember loved ones who have died and to help support their spiritual journey. Please include the family name on the back of the photo for it to be returned after our celebration.

An Extra Pair of Clothes
It's always a good idea to send an extra outfit in your students backpack for emergencies no matter the age! The little kids sometimes have accidents and the big kids spill drinks and food at lunch. The office is depleted of most sizes of extra clothing so please send extra clothes with your student.

Babysitters Needed!!!
I am looking for a daycare/sitter that can take my kids on breaks and during summer. I have a 7-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. I would prefer someone that has kids in that age range so that they have kids their age to play with. Please let me know if you are interested or know of someone who is in the business.
I am also interested in a sitter for weekends and events. This can be a responsible middle schooler/high schooler who is looking for some income and can work weekend evenings.
Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks so much in advance! Please contact Elizabeth Drury 317-797-6682 or bethbartlow@hotmail.com
