Kodiak Family Update

I am delighted to join the Kodiak family at Victory Middle School, bringing with me an excitement for the spirited atmosphere of middle school and a dedication to fostering a supportive environment where students excel. With seven years of administrative experience in the WASD, I am passionate about life-long learning and creating a community where every student feels valued and supported. A little about me...my husband and I recently celebrated our 25th anniversary, and we take pride in our daughter’s artistic talents as a tattoo artist in Boise and our son’s service as a firefighter in the US Air Force. As an Idaho native, I love outdoor adventures, traveling, golfing and game nights with loved ones. I look forward to making lasting memories with you all. Go Kodiaks!

It's very important that you and your child review and understand the West Ada Dress Code Policy before the first day of school to avoid any possible disciplinary actions. To review the dress code in its entirety, please click here.

All student-athletes must register in Aktivate and pay fees before the first practice.

Required Fees: Participation = $90. Activity Card = $22.25.

Volleyball coaches needed! We need a couple additional volleyball coaches to head our 7th grade B team and C teams. If you, or someone you know, has a background in volleyball and has interest in coaching, please contact athletic director Scott Dew dew.scott@westada.org

2024 Fall Start Dates:

Cheerleading: August 12th 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Open to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.

Volleyball: August 12th. Open to 7th and 8th grade students (girls).

Football: August 12th 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm. Open to 7th and 8th grade students.

Cross Country: August 14th 3:15 pm – 4:45 pm. Open to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.

Parent meeting for all fall sports: Thursday August 15th 5:30 pm. In the gym.

Eligibility reminders:

· Must have all passing grades.

· Must attend school the entire day to participate in competition.

· Six semesters of middle school eligibility.

· No discipline infractions.

· Must be enrolled at Victory Middle School. Home school students must live within Victory boundaries.

Spectator Reminders:

· Encourage and cheer for our players and coaches.

· Respect our opponents and officials.

· Respect the game and the rules.

· Refrain from yelling at officials. We have many new officials this year who are just learning how to officiate.

· Clean up any garbage in your area to assist our custodians.

· Enjoy the competition.
