February C.C.M.R. Focus

Kingsland School students and staff will be focusing on Trade Schools this month for our C.C.M.R. focus.

What IS C.C.M.R.????

C.C.M.R. stands for College Career Military Ready.

All students who graduate from Kingsland School will be prepared for ANY post-graduation path of their choosing. To help prepare them, we are developing monthly focuses that narrow in on a specific path each month.

The Amazing Race, 2024

PTO sponsored an Amazing Race for our high school students. 10 teams met at 5pm last Friday, January 31st, to race through Kingsland School in an effort to win 1st place. From shooting birds in Brazil, to cooking dumplings in China, to painting faces in Japan, and so much more, students visited 8 different countried, completed 8 different challenges, and overall had a fantastic time.

A special thank you to Amber Lorenzo and the Kingsland PTO for creating and implementing this phenomenal event.

Meals Received!!!

Thanks to the generous $10,000 donation from Taste Highland Lakes, Kingsland School purchased and has now received an entire pallet of pre-packaged meals from Optimum Foods. The first order was delivered the first week of January on a pallet that is 6 feet tall!!! We are super excited to start offering these items soon to our students.

Federal Report Cards

Federal Report Cards have been posted. Every district that receives Title I, Part A funding is responsible for distributing the reports to each of its campuses, the parents of all enrolled students, and the general public by March 4, 2025.
