Secondary School Update
November 22nd, 2024

ROCORI Families-
The holiday season is a great time to be reflect and have gratitude. I cannot tell you how often in an interview, or in introducing a new staff member to our building that we highlight how wonderful our students are and how great our families are to serve. We are blessed to work in a community that truly supports our schools, and we serve fantastic students that are a lot of fun to be around. Thank you for supporting our school and thank you for sending us fantastic students to work with every day. ROCORI is a great place because it’s made up of staff that care about students, families that support staff, and students who are easy to work with and make our job enjoyable each day.
However you celebrate, I hope it’s filled with family, friends, and reflection of what you have to be grateful for this holiday season.
From our team at ROCORI to you and yours, have a Happy Holiday Season!

This week we are highlighting two of our Spartan Pathways: Agriculture and Natural Sciences along with Engineering and Trades. Our previous newsletter highlighted the Business, Arts & Communication pathway along with the Health and Human Services pathway.
Students will select a pathway for exploration based on their personal interests. Within each pathway students will be able to explore future opportunities and careers. Students have completed an interest inventory through MCIS (Minnesota Career Information System) To explore your student’s Career Cluster results, login through Clever on the ROCORI website.

MESSAGE FROM THE ROCORI WAY TEAM
Celebration time!
At the completion of Tri 1, 413 high school students had zero unexcused absences, zero tardies, zero office discipline referrals, and had passing grades for all classes. These student names were entered into a drawing; 100 names were selected to receive a treat bag: "We are bubbling about your trimester one progress." Bags included a bubbler, holiday Oreos, and a candy cane.
Parents, thanks for your continued support of the ROCORI Way. If you are interested in donating to support this type of recognition in the future, please let Marsha Gilbertson or Emily Peterson know.
