A big week for our 6th Graders as they embark on their Outdoor Ed journey this week. They'll be visiting Camp Cedar Crest near Running Springs Tuesday through Friday. Wishing them lots of fun and great memories!

Red Ribbon Week is next week and we're looking forward to all the fun dress up days and activities planned for the week to promote a healthy life and choices.

Title: i-Ready Family Informational Night

Brief Description: An opportunity for your families to learn how our schools will be using i-Ready this year.

Please help by feeding (donating) a bag of candy to our monsters for this free family event! You will find our monsters either in the office or in the front of the school. They might even make an appearance at our drop off zones. Thank you.

Below is a message from the American Heart Association. They reached out to me and I wanted to connect with them for our Red Ribbon Week. While registering your child to sign up and completing Finn's Mission (see below), it also does ask for donations. PLEASE DO NOT FEEL OBLIGATED TO DO SO. This community has been so generous with donations for Bobcat Buyout, the School Store, school supplies, candy, etc., etc., etc., that I did not want you to feel pressured to do one more thing. Your child can still be recognized and earn prizes without a monetary donation. I wanted to connect with AHA for students to learn about a healthy heart and healthy choices. If you have any questions, please reach out to me, I'd be happy to discuss this further.

Kids Heart Challenge starts soon, and we are proud to support the American Heart Association through this service-learning program. Students will learn how to have happy and healthy hearts and brains, while raising lifesaving donations to help others with special hearts. Plus, your family can learn the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR through Finn’s Mission! Sign Up TODAY at heart.org/schools or by downloading the FREE AHA Schools App for Apple or Android.

Students who sign up early will be recognized at our assembly on October 21st!

We are looking to purchase a Book Vending Machine for our library. If you have any loose change in your pocket or couch cushions, maybe you would consider tossing it into our change bucket in the front office.
