Band
The 5/6 bands have been hard at work! Our 5th graders are focusing on developing their tone, note reading, and rhythm skills as they explore more cool songs, including selections from pages 6-7 in their green method book. Meanwhile, the 6th grade band is busy preparing for their upcoming winter concert on December 3rd at 7 PM at SME. Students should be continuing to prepare Space Raiders, The Slider, Hanukkah Is Here, and All Is NOT Calm.
Both groups are also excited to share their progress with the school during the all-building assembly on December 6th. We’re proud of their dedication and growth!

Strings Update!
We are excited to share that Strings had a successful first concert! Our students did a fantastic job showcasing their hard work and progress, and we couldn't be prouder of their performances! It's been a wonderful start to the year, and we look forward to continuing this musical journey together.
As we move forward, we are already starting to work on music for our Winter Concert, which will be held on December 16th. Both 5th and 6th Grade students are focused on perfecting their skills in preparation for this exciting event!
6th Grade: The students are diligently working on perfecting their G string notes, ensuring their sound is rich and consistent as they continue to build their note reading proficiency.
5th Grade: Our 5th graders are deep diving into bowing! They are refining their bow control and rhythm to bring their performances to the next level.
