The Poway Unified transfer window opens on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 8 a.m.! If you live within the Poway Unified boundaries and want your child to attend a school different than your assigned school, submit your request online through the Transfers page on the PUSD website. (This includes siblings of current students.) Please make sure to still enroll your child at their assigned school of residence when new student enrollment opens on April 1, 2025. Transfer requests can only be processed once your child is enrolled in their school of residence. The transfer request window will close on March 31, 2025 at 5 p.m.

It is already time to begin to think about the 2025-2026 school year!

Here are some important dates to mark on your calendars:

• Continuing Student Registration - from February 28 - March 31st, all parents whose current students will continue in Poway Unified for the 2025-26 school year need to complete online continuing registration. Look for more information coming soon.

• New Student Enrollment - beginning on April 1st at 8:00 am, new student enrollment opens on the Poway Unified website. We are excited to welcome our new students!

February PAWs Meeting Wednesday, 2/5 at 6:30pm

Permission Slips for Talent Show Due this Wednesday, 2/5

Permission slips are due on 2/5 if your child is planning to audition for the Talent Show.

You can also sign your child up through our interest form and make note of the important rehearsal dates. 2025 Talent Show Interest Form. Tryouts are on February 13th from 1:30-3:30pm.

Re-Wear Sale This Thursday, 2/6 from 9am-4pm

Pomerado's Re-Wear Sale is this Thursday, February 6th from 9am-4pm in the MPR. All donations will be sold for $1 per item. The funds raised will directly support student learning and provide essential supplies for classrooms. We need your support to make this a successful event. 50s Sock Hop Family Dance this Friday, 2/7 from 5-7pm

Don't forget our family dance on Friday from 5-7pm in the MPR. There will be food and snacks, crafts and games. We are looking for volunteers to help with setup, the photo booth and concessions. On February 27, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., Valley Elementary School will host PUSD's first-ever IEP Basics training exclusively in Spanish. In collaboration with the Exceptional Family Resource Center, this event is designed to support PUSD Spanish-speaking families of students with IEPs. More details are available in the event flier.
