BES Principal Newsletter
January 17th, 2025
Good evening BES families,
Today marks the official end of the first semester hence the two half days for exams. Just a reminder that we do not have school Monday January 20th for MLK Day. Reports will be sent home in next week's Friday folders as well as any special education progress reports if applicable. Please contact the office should you not receive the necessary paperwork.
Next week. extreme weather is set to come across Michigan. Should temperatures with wind chill be forecasted to be -20 degrees below, school will be cancelled. Should we have school, we only go outside for recess if the weather is 0 degrees and higher (with wind chill). Always send your student with all of the necessary outside gear just in case the weather changes before recess time. We do have select items here but they don't always fit the way the kids like them to.
