December 2024
A Message From Principal Abeal
Dear West Belmar Families,
The holiday season is upon us, and with it comes a time to celebrate the talents and hard work of our students through music and performance. December promises to be a festive and exciting month, filled with opportunities to come together as a school community.
Our school will be participating in our second Pajama Day to support Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia! On December 6th, we invite all students to wear their favorite school appropriate pajamas to school to support CHOP’s efforts to help care for children, provide care, find cures and help serve families. It will be a wonderful day to give back and help make a difference.
I am thrilled to invite you to our Holiday Night Concert for grades 4th-5th on Monday, December 16th, at 7:00 p.m. This special evening will showcase our students’ artistic achievements and their dedication to their craft under the musical direction of Mrs. Addison and Mr. DeHays.
Later in the week, join us for our Day Concert on Friday, December 20th, at 10:00 a.m. for all grade levels. Each performance will highlight the incredible talents of our students, with a mix of classic and contemporary pieces to get us all into the holiday spirit.
As we close out the calendar year, I encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the successes we’ve achieved together and look forward to the opportunities the new year will bring. I hope to see you at these wonderful events as we celebrate the joy of the season and the accomplishments of our school community.
May you and your family have a warm and happy holiday season and a healthy and prosperous New Year!
