Week of March 31st
Message from Principal Drew...
We have 33 instructional days before final exams. Begin preparing now with excellent effort in the classroom each day. Let’s finish strong.
Congratulations to Mrs. Michaelle Overman on being named the Perquimans County Schools CTE Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Overman teaches health occupations classes and is the sponsor of our HOSA club.
Congratulations to our athletic director, Justin Roberson, on being named a recipient for the Dave Harris Athletic Award of Excellence by the NCHSAA. Coach Roberson will be formally recognized on June 18 in Greensboro at the NCHSAA Awards Banquet.
Our Hunter Safety team had a great showing on Saturday. The team finished first overall and will compete in the state championships in Ellerbe, NC on April 26. Caden Winslow won first overall as an individual and Jay Roberts won first overall in archery. Good luck at the state championships.
Our math teams did very well this past week at the regional competition. Lane Gregory, Nate Williamson and Jonathan Jones all qualified for the state competition in Fayetteville later this month.
