Dear Bulldog Families,

We hope this message finds you enjoying a fun, restful, and safe summer! While our classrooms may be quieter, our building is still full of activity as we prepare for an exciting new school year.

We are proud to announce that Dixon Elementary has been renewed as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School! This prestigious recognition reflects our continued commitment to empowering students, building leadership, and living out our mission to Dream, Empower, and Succeed each day.

We are also excited to welcome Mrs. Amanda Muirhead as our new Assistant Principal! Mrs. Muirhead brings a strong background in education, leadership, and student support. We look forward to the positive energy and dedication she will bring to our Bulldog family.

Around the building, our custodial and maintenance teams have been hard at work with summer painting and deep cleaning projects to ensure our campus is fresh and ready to welcome back students and staff in August.

Although we’re enjoying the summer season, we’re certainly missing our Bulldogs and can’t wait to see everyone’s smiling faces soon. Be on the lookout for back-to-school updates and important dates as we get closer to the start of the 2025–2026 school year.
