Summer with Santa, successful! A lot of beard pulling and coat touching. Laughter, smiles, creativity, and imagination. The center was alive with the feeling. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped create the magical moments.

Magic School AI DOK Question Generator
The DOK Question Generator Tool is a valuable MagicSchool AI powered resource for educators aiming to assess and promote cognitive depth in their teaching. This tool simplifies the process of generating questions for each of the four Depth of Knowledge (DOK) levels, helping educators effectively evaluate and challenge students' thinking.

PROFESSIONAL LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES 🚌
Prisms of Reality
Prisms of Reality is an experiential learning platform for math that uses adaptive Immersive Virtual Reality (IVR) to transform the math learning experience along with science, middle school math, and advanced courses dropping in 2024!
Teachers will also get a chance to tour PlaneWave Instruments (For over a decade, PlaneWave Instruments brings its unique brand of craftsmanship to amateur and professional astronomers with a full line of telescopes and related products which withstand the test of real-world (and out-of-this-world usage.)
TEACHER SUPPORT SERIES 2024-2025
This series will bring Lenawee County Teachers together to focus on common teaching strategies and collaboration. Every teacher is invited to attend, with a focus on teachers in their first, second, or third year in education. There will be four face-to-face meetings throughout the 2024-2025 school year.
In each session, participants will have learning around:
Teacher requirements and connections with state organizations, Shared learning around classroom management and classroom engagement, Collaborating with local Lenawee County teachers, CPR certification or renewing CPR certification, De-escalation Training, Danielson CPR Model training.
Student-Centered Learning Across Michigan
The next cohort for Student-Centered Learning Across Michigan (SLAM) starts Nov. 4th. Utilizing Modern Classroom Project's free course, educators will create a support structure to design their own elements of a blended, self-paced classroom. Earn 12 SCECHs: https://bit.ly/remcSLAM
