Transcript Request
🎓 Attention Class of 2024 Graduates! 🎓
As you prepare for your next steps after graduation, don't forget to request copies of your transcripts from Desert Edge High School. Ordering your transcripts is easy! Simply scan the QR code below to submit your request.
Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for DEHS to process your request. Additionally, once your transcripts are sent to colleges or universities, they may take up to one month to input them into their computer systems. We kindly ask for your patience throughout this process.
Remember, all sections must be completed in order for your request to be processed efficiently.

Attention seniors! If you have money remaining in your lunch account at the end of the year, you can request a refund by submitting a written request to the Food Service Department.
To get your remaining lunch balance refunded, you must email mmachain@aguafria.org with the following information:

✏️ Parent's Name (Check will be made out to Parent/Guardian)
✏️ Parent's Mailing Address (Check will be mailed to this address)
Bell Schedule Reminder
Senior Checkout Reminders
Wednesday, May 15: all seniors will park in the West Lot and enter into the gym through the courtyard. Grad practice will begin promptly at 8:30am. Senior check out will immediately follow. Seniors MUST leave campus once they are checked out.
Technology Reminders
Class of 2024
Checking out with technology/ library:
All library books and textbooks can be returned prior to or on Senior Check-Out Day.
You must bring all items, especially your Chromebook, to Senior Check Out on May 15. Graduates get to KEEP their Chromebooks.
No new tech fees will be issued on May 15; existing tech fees can be paid prior to Senior Check Out.
Any loss or damage must be taken care of prior to Friday, May 10 we will not be evaluated for damage or repair.
If you lost your charger, you will not be able to purchase one from the school after May 10.
Any senior not graduating will keep their device over the summer to use for summer school or the 24/25 school year unless you are leaving the district, then you will return the Chromebook and charger, and any other DE items to campus as part of the withdrawal process.

You have an opportunity to move information saved to your school Google account to your personal accounts. Resumes, portfolios, etc. do not have to disappear! Follow the instructions for Google Takeout. This can take time. so don't wait until the last minute. Your school account will be deactivated July 1st.
Graduation Day Parking and Entry
DE Graduation Regalia 2024
To ensure and support a distinguished graduation ceremony, Desert Edge High School has established the following standards for graduation attire and regalia:
Appropriate Attire
Men - dress pants, dress shoes, collared shirt
Women - dresses, dress pants, dress shoes (flats are recommended due to walking on uneven surfaces and a ramp)
School approved Cap and Gown are required to be worn to participate

Please iron your gown on low heat.
Must be zipped up during the ceremony
Graduates may only wear hoods, stoles, cords, pins, and medals earned while at Desert Edge High School.
Academic, nationally recognized clubs/organizations
Any deviation or additional regalia must be approved by the site Principal
No homemade stoles may be worn
Cap and Gown Information
When prompted, the online code will be the student's ID number.
Class of 2024 Trip
Three more seats are available for the senior class trip. Please contact Mrs. C. Mendoza immediately if interested.
For those attending, there will be a meeting on Thursday, May 2nd during RTI to discuss the final itinerary and room assignments.

Arts Honors Recognition
The Conservatory wants our Desert Edge student artists to pursue state-level honors recognition by completing the requirements for the Arizona State Seal of Arts Proficiency. Completion of the seal is a tremendous honor.
Students who complete the state seal requirements will be recognized at graduation, receive Fine Arts Honors Cords, have the Arizona State Seal of Arts Proficiency permanently affixed to the graduate's diploma, and a notation will be in the student artists transcript as a state diploma seal recipient, and the student will be recognized at senior honors night.

About DEHS
Located near the Estrella Mountains, Desert Edge High School is the third high school in Agua Fria Union High School District, opening in the Fall of 2002. Desert Edge was the first "Green" Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver certificate high school in Arizona, and the fourth in the nation.
Desert Edge is an A+ School of Excellence! (2016 and 2020). The A+ School of Excellence™ Program is a comprehensive school assessment program that celebrates outstanding schools and brings to light the positive stories and successes happening in public schools every day.
Desert Edge has consistently been awarded the Washington Post's America's Most Challenging High School and US News and World Report Best High School in America. Desert Edge is the only high school in Arizona to earn gold medal status in the Beat the Odds program for the 2018-2019 school year.
