Multilingual Family Newsletter

As the days grow longer and the first signs of spring appear, the multilingual staff want to extend our gratefulness for your continued trust and partnership in your child's multilingual education. Your commitment to fostering a love of learning and embracing diverse cultures is truly inspiring.

With over 20 languages represented now, over the last 6 years our program has grown significantly! In 2018-2019 there were 67 multilingual students to currently we have 148 students. In 2020 there were 9 new immigrant students, this year we have 28 new immigrants with a total of 75 immigrant students in their first three years of schooling in the United States. As our program continues to grow, we would like your feedback. There are 2 google forms below: elementary (kindergarten through fifth grade) and secondary (sixth through twelfth grade), please fill out the appropriate form to provide your feedback.

We are in our last 2 weeks of WIDA testing at Hudsonville Public Schools for this year! As a reminder, student's scores will be released over the summer and sent home in August/September.

Current opportunities include baseball/softball, hockey, robotics, STEAM, legos, home alone class, babysitting class, broadway boot camp, skating/rollerblading, hockey, ice skating, dance, tennis, and volleyball league.
