One of the most important components of a good school is the partnership between the school and parents who work together for the best interest of children. The close partnership between home and school is one of the exceptional strengths of Nashua Elementary.
We have always had a strong tradition of supportive, hard-working parents. It is important to your child that you are involved in some way at school. It's a way to let your child know you think his or her school is important.
Thank you for your support with your child's academic and emotional development this year! I especially would like to recognize the Parent Volunteers and Community Partners for their efforts throughout the year. I would also like to extend my deepest thanks to the Nashua Community for the privilege of serving as the principal for the past 7 years. Our Stars will always hold a special place in my heart.

A Note from the PTA President:
Congratulations everyone - we made it to the end of the 2020-21 school year! Through all of the virtual meetings, book fairs, and events to the quarantines and virtual learning - parents, teachers, staff, and administrators were tasked to do the unimaginable this year. And we did it! Hats off to you and all the hard work to make this school year a success for all of our Stars.
I'm happy to share with you that our current treasurer, Tracy Taylor, will be taking the helm as PTA President next year. I will be moving on to Gateway with my 5th grader! With Tracy taking over as president, this means our Treasurer position is now open. Please let me know if you have any interest, as it is a vital part of our organization!
If treasurer is not your thing, we still have lots of other positions available - reach out if you have any questions!
On a personal note, I'd like to thank everyone who participated in PTA the past four years. Working with you has been a true joy, and highlight to my life. I frequently share with others how amazing Nashua is, and how easy it is to be President because we have such amazing volunteers. I appreciate you all so much, you do not know how much you'll be missed.
Have a great summer,
Robyn Tuwei
