The mission of Longfellow Elementary School

Milk Break Begins Tuesday, Sept. 3rd. Sign Up on School Pay

Milk Break Sign-up Is available through SchoolPay. The cost for 1st semester is $35.00. You may sign up for this as well as depositing money in your student's lunch account at anytime, but preferably before the start of school so they are ready to go. Please sign up well at least 24 hours before the date you wish milk to start so the system can process your order

School Lunch Menus- Available online

School Menus (both breakfast and lunch) are available on the school website and/or the district website under Nutrition Services. While menus are subject to change on occasion, this is your best resource to check and help your students plan for each day. Make sure on the left hand side at the top, you are selecting breakfast or lunch (whichever one you are seeking) and on the right top that you use the drop down list to select Longfellow Elementary as daily menus can vary from school to school. This School year, student meals will be priced as follows:

Breakfast is $1.65

Lunch $2.65

Extra Milk $0.45

Money for meals can be deposited into your SchoolPay Account (link below or in your PowerSchool account at the bottom far left side of the page)

Free and Reduced Meal applications may be completed by clicking on the link below. If you have applied in the past you will need to fill out a new application annually as the prior approval will soon expire and you'll be charged for meals at the regular rate if a new application is not approved.

Diagnosed Food Allergies information, in addition to being on their health forms, should be submitted to Nutrition Services at the link below.

New Lost & Found Policy

Due to the volume of items we collect in the Lost and Found, we will now be donating all useable items and discarding non-useable items at the close of the day (2:37) on the last day of class for each month. Please be checking the table outside of the office regularly.

Save Your Pop Tabs for Ronald McDonald House

By saving tabs from your pop, energy drinks, soup and beverage cans

you can help the families of the

Ronald McDonald House of the Red River Valley!

Pop tabs are collected and recycled and the profits go directly

to help families stay with us at the Ronald McDonald houses.

For such a small item, the pop tabs have a big impact.

The Ronald McDonald houses serve as a "home away from home"

for families who have a child receiving medical care

in Fargo – Moorhead.

Ms. Hamilton, 1st grade teacher, is the point of contact for the Pop Tab Collection at Longfellow. She can get you a special box to save them in from the Ronald McDonald House, or you can just save them in a ziplock baggie . When you have some to turn in, drop them off at the office, or bring them to Ms. Hamilton’s room #8. Thanks so much for supporting this great cause!
