Fri., August 30th - Institute Day, no attendance for students

Mon., Sept. 2nd - Labor Day, no school

What a wonderful first week of school! The students are doing a great job settling in and learning new routines. Over the last three days, I have seen students make great connections with their teachers, as well as begin to build strong classroom communities. I am so excited to see what the second week holds!

Lunch & Recess Volunteers

Our parent volunteers are an integral part of our school community. Therefore, we'd love to invite you to spend time with Ferson Creek students during lunch and lunch recess.

Please keep in mind that it is important to keep our students, staff members, and volunteers safe while they are in our schools. Given that, all volunteers must:

Have your ID ready and sign in at the office to receive your visitor badge.
EACH YEAR complete a Volunteer Liability Form. If the school does not have one on file for you and you do not provide one, the office will provide one for you when you come for your first day as a volunteer.

If you'd like to be a part of the optional, PTO sponsored school directory, please login into your Membership Toolkit account to update your students' information for the 2024-25 school year. All students' grade levels have been advanced, but you will need to update their teachers.

iReady Assessment Information

Our Fall iReady diagnostic assessment window opens on Monday for 1st-5th grade students. Information regarding the assessment and it's purpose can be found here. Kindergarten students also participate in iReady, with an assessment window beginning September 3rd.

Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

Thank you to everyone for your patience with our dismissal this week! We will continue to become more efficient as the days progress.

As a reminder, all cars should enter and exit off of Burr Road only. Please do not use the entrance on Bolcum to enter our leave the parking lot. That is where our buses exit and it becomes too congested if cars are also using that entrance.
