As we enter the month of December, we wanted to provide a few reminders and updates of upcoming events for 8th graders at Hauser. We will continue to provide updates and reminders as the events get closer through this newsletter. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Prepare for Graduation Pictures
Graduation Pictures- Thursday, January 16th
8th graders will take graduation pictures on Thursday, January 16th through their social studies classes. Picture proofs and ordering information will be available a few weeks after the photo session. Retakes are scheduled for Wednesday, February 19th.
RBHS Information
Future Bulldog Night will be held at Riverside-Brookfield High School on January 15th from 6-8 PM. Students will receive a packet with their PreACT scores and class placements. There will also be an opportunity to sign up for various clubs, activities, and sports teams that evening. Please plan to attend this event with your student. Incoming Freshmen Registration is on Saturday, January 25th from 7:30 AM-2:00 PM. This is time for you and your student to meet your student's counselor and set your student's schedule. Please plan to attend this event with your student. Questions, please contact RBHS at 708-442-7500.
Records Request
If your student tested at a private high school, please make sure to turn in the academic release form your student received on the day they tested to the Hauser office. Ms. Gentilini will forward all records that need to be sent to the private high schools before we leave for winter break.
Great America Field Trip - May 20th
8th Graders will be taking a field trip to Great America on May 20th. More details will be available soon.
Graduation - Tuesday, May 27th

Appropriate Student Behavior Reminder
Participation in all 8th grade events are a privilege. Students earn their participation in these events by their appropriate behavior at school. Repeated or severe violations of school rules may result in exclusion from the events per our Parent-Student Handbook Policy
