Spring Musical Information
Interested in taking the stage in a musical production this Spring? Lord Botetourt High School will be putting together a musical and needs talented, creative, and energetic students to participate! This year, we are asking any interested 8th grade students at RMMS and CAMS to audition for roles within the ensemble or non-lead roles. This is a great opportunity for any 8th grader to get on stage, have fun, and to show that they have what it takes to be considered for leading roles once they enter high school!
Not interested in being on stage but would like to be part of the fun?
No problem! We have plenty of opportunities for backstage and tech crew members!
Audition dates for middle school students will be January 9th and January 13th 2025 after the school day ends. Students will need to get parental permission to ride a transfer bus to Lord Botetourt High School on the dates of the auditions or otherwise find a different means of transportation. Audition callbacks will be held on January 14, 2025 so students should be prepared for the possibility of needing to attend this date as well.
Students should be prepared to sing and act at auditions. They will be provided with a short monologue at the audition and are encouraged to prepare 20-30 seconds of their favorite song to perform.

Attendance Information
- Attendance is taken everyday per class.
- A student with 8 or more absences may be denied credit for class.
- An attendance waiver is REQUIRED if a student misses more than 8 days in a class regardless of excused/unexcused.
- If waiver is denied, the student must write a letter of appeal to Mrs. Mast.

Dual Enrollment Fees
Attention Students Taking Dual Enrollment Classes in the 2nd Semester:
All dual enrollment (DE) fees must be paid by Friday, January 10, 2025, to ensure you receive credit for your DE class.
Please bring your payment (cash or checks) to the counseling office. Don't miss this important deadline!
Transcript Requests
Any transcript requests needed before winter break must be sent to your school counselor as soon as possible. We will not be checking our email or sending transcripts once we leave!
