October Happenings
Dear Families,
We were delighted to welcome new families and welcome back our returning families in September. We truly enjoyed getting to know our new students and seeing how much our current students grew over the summer.
On September 28th, we celebrated our 1st anniversary! As we reflect on everything we’ve accomplished during our first year, we want to express our sincere gratitude. The connections we’ve made with each of your children mean so much to us. Every day, it becomes clearer that excellence isn’t just about the quality of education, it’s also about ensuring that every student who comes to our center enjoys the time they spend with us. They always want to come back, and they never want to leave! Check out our Google reviews.
As a recognized community partner in STEM education by the CT Science Center, keep an eye out for us in their newsletters and at some of their family events. This upcoming Saturday, we will be attending their annual gala, and our business will be a supporter of their silent auction. Visit their website to start bidding (link included below).
Our STEM classes are a favorite, and we are taking them to the next level. Family STEM Nights, STEM Saturdays, and STEM birthday party packages are new additions to our services. Check them out!
With Gratitude,
Natalie and Tatiana

Enrichment Classes
STEM Enrichment Classes
STEM Enrichment Classes
We offer STEM classes for children's ages 5 - 12. Our classes are designed to engage children in hands-on learning and play-based exploration while solving design challenges using the steps of the engineering design process. We find that our unique approach to learning and supporting child development creates a positive learning environment where children want to come back again and again. Classes are designed for children in grades K-2 and grades 3-5. Taught by certified teachers.
STEM & Storytime Playdates. Grades K-2
Storytime and STEM is designed to help children: foster new friendships, develop the capacity to solve problems and engage in hands-on activities that strengthen critical thinking skills. Sessions include storytime, group or individual building projects using playdough, Legos, or makerspace materials. Taught by certified teachers. Grades K-2.
Drop-In Playdates Grades 3-5
Fairy Tales Around the World
This engaging literacy class will expose children to the fairy tale genre as they compare and contrast different versions of common fairy tales. Children will complete thematic projects and rewrite their own fairy tales. Taught by certified teachers.
Spanish Interactive Storytime
This multi-age Spanish module is always interactive and fun! Through repetition with games, activities, storytime, and crafts, children are introduced to new vocabulary each week. Big kids will practice their Spanish reading skills by reading a book to a younger child, while little kids will benefit from listening to a new language. Memory games, flashcards, song games, the mystery box, and charades are just some of the activities our students will enjoy every week. Taught by a native Spanish speaker.
Schedule for Enrichment Classes
Classes available for grades K-2 and/or grades 3-5. Students meet 1 time per week for 90 minutes.
Tutoring in Math and Literacy
We offer personalized tutoring in math and literacy. We understand that every child is different and unique, so why should they all learn the same way?
Our plans leverage each child’s strengths to support them in areas where they need additional help.
We know that every child is naturally curious and wants to learn, so we prioritize building a connection with them to ensure their success.
Our teachers are certified with over 20 years of experience in education and hold master’s degrees in special education, and reading instruction.
In literacy, our teachers incorporate the five components of the science of reading, along with their knowledge and expertise in the Fundations Phonics program and the Orton-Gillingham approach in each of our sessions.
In math, a multisensory approach is combined with the use of hands-on, concrete strategies to help students grow and succeed. Our math sessions integrate movement into learning, provide visual representations like bar diagrams and graphic organizers, and focus on direct instruction and review based on explicit learning objectives. This ensures that students build a strong foundation in basic math facts and move confidently from concrete to abstract concepts.
