Hawk Pride
Each week, we start out the week with Mission Monday. This mission becomes a focus for the week. You can help at home by discussing this mission with your child.
This week's STUDENT MISSION:
Stop the spread of germs. Cough and sneeze into your elbow or cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands. Washing your hands with soap and water often is a good idea and remember to wash for 20 seconds. Also, try not to touch your eyes, nose and mouth.

Cold Weather Approaching
As the seasons change and the weather gets colder. Please remember to send warm clothing to school with your child.
Healthy Hawks:
Vision & Hearing
Sanford:
Vision and Hearing screening will take place the mornings of Monday, November 18th and Friday, November 22 .
If your student wears glasses, contacts, or hearing aides, please be sure they have them on the day of screenings.
Be a Step Ahead... Provide Extra Clothes
Please, provide your child with an additional change of clothes to keep in their locker. Kids can make a mess, slip, or have accidents. This works well in winter as well for clothes or socks that may get wet from playing in the snow. It's beneficial to have their own comfortable clothing ready instead of borrowing from the nursing supply. This way, we can avoid disrupting a parent's day and students have peace of mind if the unexpected happens.
