Students will be in their 4th period class from 9:15 - 12:15.
This three hour window should be a sufficient amount of time for the majority of students to complete their MAP assessment.

Late and/or absent students will be pulled to take these tests in the library/Make-ups. We hope to ambitiously wrap up by this Friday!

Library Update
OBOB….Oregon Battle of the Books is on the horizon. We have the books for students to check out in the library. These books are available online as ebooks. Access ebooks via the student PPS App page, select the SORA icon, scroll down through the “collections” until you see OBOB 2023-24 Grades 6-8. As always, utilize our Multnomah County Public Library.
Parents! Volunteers are needed to make OBOB happen! We need parents to help lead/coach students for OBOB competitions. Small teams meet at homes of teammates after school and or on the weekends. The Kellogg team that wins at our school level will compete regionally in March of 2024.
The district policy to volunteer is to complete the background check at this link: https://www.pps.net/domain/66
Please contact Jayne Morgan, library assistant, at Kellogg to volunteer. Her email is jsmith4@pps.net
Many students are looking forward to this and have already begun reading OBOB books. Thank you parents!

Students can grab their ball from the bin during lunch. Balls and other equipment should never be out in the hallways or classrooms.
