SPOTLIGHT
- Most Improved-
BOYS- Steven Espinal has grown tremendously over the beginning of our short season. He began with a time trial time of 12:28 and on Friday he ran 9:50. This performance not only showcased his improvement but made him a competitor up at the front of the races for the rest of the season. We still haven’t seen Steven’s best yet, and that is exciting for our team.
GIRLS- Abby Gaskill has dropped a ton of time off of her time trial time. Friday, she again set a new personal best time: 14:2. Almost 3 minutes faster than her time trial! Her hard work has been paying off. We are all proud!
- Most Impressive Run-
-Neena Peter battled to a second-place finish at Upper and came back the next day to get her first win of the season against Galloway. She is a leader on the team and her positivity and hard work do not go unnoticed!
