Bucks County Economic Development Corporation (BCEDC) Annual Breakfast
At the recent Bucks County Economic Development Corporation (BCEDC) annual breakfast, Dr. Mark Covelle our Administrative Director presented along with two other Buck County Career and Technical Education (CTE) centers. The directors each spoke to the Council, highlighting the incredible advancements in CTE programs. Together, we emphasized the modern opportunities that CTE programs offer to prepare students for today’s workforce. The event was an excellent opportunity to foster collaboration and build relationships that will benefit our schools and communities.
NAMI Stride Walk
We wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to support NAMI in their Stride Walk! Your incredible energy and commitment made the day truly unforgettable. Together, we raised over $2,000 to support mental health awareness and initiatives. Not only that, but we were thrilled to see over 100 team members join us in walking for such an important cause!
This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the amazing support from each and every one of you. Together, we are making strides toward a brighter future
We are also proud to announce that Pamela Swoyer received a well-deserved award for her unwavering passion and commitment to raising awareness about mental health have made a profound impact on our community. Congratulations, Pamela!
Pediatric First Aid training in Early Childhood Education
Our 200 Level @mbit_earlychildhoodeducation students participated in Pediatric First Aid training today, equipping them with vital, hands-on skills to respond to a variety of emergencies. From administering CPR to treating common injuries like cuts, burns, and fractures, this training provides them with the knowledge and confidence needed to act quickly and efficiently in critical situations. This opportunity is an essential component of their professional development, ensuring that they are well-prepared to maintain the health and safety of the children they will one day care for. As future educators, these life-saving techniques will not only benefit the children in their classrooms but also help build trust with parents and the community. We're proud of their commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for all children! Thank you,@ready_response

Multimedia Technology Students
Our Multimedia Technology students recorded four testimonial videos for the Credit Counseling Center (CCC) at First National Bank in Richboro! 🎥 CCC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the citizens of Bucks County, and we’re thrilled that these videos will be featured at their upcoming fundraising gala. Proud of their hard work!
SkillsUSA
The first SkillsUSA meeting of the year was an exciting start, bringing together students from across our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs to discuss leadership opportunities and the importance of becoming involved in this nationally recognized organization. SkillsUSA not only fosters a sense of community but also provides students with real-world skills that are critical for success in their future careers. By becoming officers, students have the unique opportunity to develop their leadership abilities, collaborate with peers, and represent their school at local, state, and national levels. This experience prepares them for the workforce by promoting teamwork, responsibility, and professionalism, opening doors to career success and personal growth in their chosen fields.
National School Principals Month
October is National School Principals Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible leadership and dedication of our school principals, who play a vital role in the success of our students and educators. In Career and Technical Education (CTE), principals are essential in supporting innovative programs that prepare students for real-world careers. Their commitment to fostering strong partnerships with industry professionals and promoting hands-on learning experiences ensures that CTE students are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in today’s workforce. We are grateful for our principals, whose vision and support create opportunities for students to excel in both their academic and career pursuits.
