Good Afternoon Parents and Guardians
Professional Development Day
On Monday, we joined St Anthony's, St Francis of Assisi and St John Paul II for a collaborative professional development session with a focus on the "Resilience Shield". The Resilience Shield provides a comprehensive framework for developing resilience in students and staff. It offers actionable tools and techniques to help individuals overcome challenges, build mental toughness, and maintain a positive mindset. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, staff learnt how to apply these strategies in their classrooms and home life.
Kindy and Pre Primary Sport's Carnival
We had a fantastic start to the day with our first ever, Kindy and Pre Primary Sports Carnival, which showcased the impressive efforts of students, parents, and staff. It was a truly wonderful event! A big thank you to Chris Rebeiro for his meticulous preparations and planning, and to Karl for his crucial assistance with marking and staking this morning. The parent Egg and Spoon Race was a definite highlight, and seeing the joy on the kids' faces as they cheered was absolutely priceless.
P&F Father's Day Breakfast
A big thank you to our wonderful P&F for all their hard work behind the scenes this week. Your efforts in preparing such a fantastic community celebration for our dads was truly appreciated. We hope all the dads and father figures enjoyed their bacon and egg rolls and hot coffee. It was great to see a record number of dad attend breakfast this morning.
Year 1 - Father's Day Assembly
I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you for the incredible Year One Father’s Day Assembly. The way the students shared their love and appreciation for their Dads and Dad figures was genuinely touching, and their beautiful singing added such a special touch to the event. Thank you for creating such a wonderful celebration that truly honoured the dads and brought so much joy to our school community.
Wishing all the Dad/Dad Figures in our school community a very Happy Father’s Day! We hope you have a wonderful day celebrating this Sunday. Enjoy your special day!
In gratitude
Emma Fernandez
Acting Principal
