Student Fines
Parents, please continue to monitor and check for any outstanding fines. Fines will interfere with the ability to purchase Prom tickets, etc. until paid or investigated.
Feel free to reach out to me if there are any questions. We will be sending these out monthly in order to better inform you of all fees owed under your student’s name.
However, you may check fines and fees at any time by logging into your IC Portal. Then the next step is to click on “more” and then “online payments”. If you have more than one student, you would need to click on each student separately.
Feel free to call me any time with questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Denise Heinle
School Account Secretary

World Languages News
During the week of February 27 - March 3, Parkway West will be testing students for the Seal of Biliteracy. The Missouri Seal of Biliteracy is an award given by our district in recognition of students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation. We would like all of our students to recognize the practical benefits of being proficient in more than one language, and how receiving this Seal will add to their academic success and future careers.
This year our Longhorns are testing their proficiency in the following languages: American Sign Language, Arabic, Bosnian, French, German, Hindko, Latin, Norwegian, Persian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Tamil, Telugu, Turkish, and Urdu.

WHS Band Mattress Fundraiser
The annual band mattress fundraiser will be held on Sunday, February 26th from 10am to 5pm in our main gym.
There will be over 25 beds on display for customers to try. The beds are new, brand name, made to order, available in all sizes, and cost less than retail stores. In addition to beds, there will also be luxury pillows, sheets, adjustable power bases, and massage chairs. Every purchase benefits the band program here at West.
This is a word of mouth event, so even if you do not need a mattress, you can help us out by sharing this FACEBOOK LINK or the attached flyer. We are very thankful for all of the WHS faculty and staff that have supported this event in the past!
