Technology Class Updates
We wanted to share that Mrs. Rinaldi, our previous technology teacher is no longer with Sacred Heart. While we work with our trusted consulting partner, PSI, to find a replacement, we are fortunate to have Mrs. Palte and Ms. Valeri assisting us during this transition. Mrs. Palte has supported our technology program for many years as technology aide and partner teacher to Mrs. Workinger. Ms. Valeri has as degree in Education from the University of Akron, has worked in our Extended Day Program and functioned as a regular sub for us for the the last two years.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to share that as part of our STEM/STREAM Initiative, Technology Class will undergo some exciting enhancements for the upcoming school year. We are thankful for the donations we have received that will facilitate these wonderful improvements. We’ll keep you updated on these developments and the search for a new technology teacher.
Thank you for your continued support and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Empowering God's Children Program
Dear Parents,
As a follow up to the email sent this past week, you will find information below regarding a new program in our Diocese and at our school, The Empowering God' Children Program. Empowering God’s Children® is an age-appropriate comprehensive program through which Lesson Leaders (teachers, catechists, youth ministers, etc.) and parents partner to give children and youth the tools they need to protect themselves and know what to do if someone tries to violate their boundaries. This program will be presented in two lessons each year by your child's classroom teacher. Information about the content for parents and guardians has been attached to this email. If you would prefer a paper copy, please contact the main office.
About one week prior to teaching the lesson, your child's teacher will send home notification. Should you have any questions on the specifics of the material to be covered, please contact them directly. If you have any questions regarding this program or its content, you are also welcome to contact me. A paper copy with an overview of the program and an opt out form was sent home on March 12th. Should, after reviewing the program materials, you prefer your child not participate in the teacher-led lessons, you may contact the school office to speak with me and return the opt out form. This form is required by the Diocese if a family chooses not to participate.
Again, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child's teacher or me and I thank you in advance for partnering with us to keep our children safe.
In Christ,
Mr. Czaplicki

Diocese of Cleveland Parent Perception Survey
In an effort to collect Diocesan and School-wide perceptions data, we are being asked to have students, staff, and parents complete a survey. The parent survey link is below. The survey will close on March 28th.
Donate to the Angel Scholarship
The Angel Scholarship Fund
Through the Ohio Catholic Community Foundation’s Angel Scholarship, you can redirect a portion of your state tax liability to support tuition assistance for our students. This means that while you make a donation now, you can claim the amount as a dollar-for-dollar tax credit when filing your state taxes. It’s a wonderful way to give without the extra financial burden. Don't forget, any tax paying Ohioans can make a donation so spread the word to family and friends! For more information or questions about this program, please reach out to Mr. Jeff Flaherty at the parish office.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. Together, we can continue to strengthen our school family and support our mission.
