We are excited to celebrate Homecoming, fall athletes, and homecoming court at the pep rally in the Gym on Friday, September 6th. We will be utilizing our block bell schedule this week on Thursday and Friday to accommodate this event. During the personalized learning period, students will complete Advisement prior to attending the pep rally. Students who do not wish to attend the pep rally will go to the theatre.

Seckinger High School students will participate in the EES Student Wellness Screener during 3rd period on Thursday, September 5th. This confidential screening will provide our school and district staff with valuable data about students' academic, social, and emotional needs. Students who need to retake a course for graduation are encouraged to participate in our Intensive Credit Recovery program. The first session will be Sept. 13-14. Please register on My Payments Plus for $50.

Gwinnett Technical College is excited to welcome prospective students to their Preview Night for 2024. This event will highlight their academic offerings at Gwinnett Technical College, with an option to apply (for FREE) on-site during the event (only available to those who attend). Spirit Week is a great way to show your school spirit! On Friday, Seniors wear black, juniors wear gray, sophomores wear white and freshmen wear SKG blue.

Seniors! Booking for your senior photo has begun! To make things extra easy for the class of 2024, CADY has created a step-by-step senior booking guide. Please see the attachment using the button below. The last day to be photographed for the 2024-2025 yearbook is Tuesday October 15, 2024.

Please note: Some scenes and session types are available in-studio only and will not be available when CADY is at SKG. If a senior is booking a session at SKG, they will need to book a SIMPLE or STANDARD session. SCRATCH is the Seckinger Student Leadership Team. SCRATCH focuses on leadership development and community service. Membership is application based. Selected students will attend monthly meetings and complete several community service projects throughout the school year. Membership dues are $20. Our Seckinger Chorus has been invited to sing at the Braves game on September 24th vs. the METS at 7:20. If you would like to go, please consider purchasing your tickets through us---it is a fundraiser! The game has a promotional Jersey give away for the first 15,000 in the stadium. The Game looks to have a lot of sold seats—but we have 700 seats reserved in the economical sections 414, 415, 416, but only costs you $22.00 (plus very small processing fee).
