Chromebook Notice for All Families
Dear Parents,
This is a reminder that all students who have been assigned a school owned Chromebook are REQUIRED to turn in their device, in good working order, prior to the end of school by 6/14/2024, including those that are taking Summer Academics or AP Classes.
Any device not returned on time runs the risk of being deactivated. Any device returned damaged from normal wear and tear will be assessed and repair costs will be determined. Any device returned that is deemed to be intentionally damaged will be assessed the full cost of repair, including material and personnel cost associated with such repair, and may result in disciplinary action.
Additional information including the Chromebook Agreement and Acceptable use policy is available on the District website, within the NPS District 1:1 Program pages. As previously specified, all students in grades 5-12 are required to use school-issued Chromebooks.
Annual Chromebook fees MUST be paid in full in MySchoolBucks ahead of any Chromebook distribution. For 5th through 12th grade students at NPS, the annual student Chromebook fee for the 2024/2025 school year is $50, with a family cap of $100.
