Advanced Photo Class
High school students at Rowland High School recently engaged in an exciting photography project involving long exposure techniques and light writing. Using cameras set to long exposure mode, they were able to capture extended moments of time in a single shot. The students used handheld light sources, such as LED lights, glow sticks, or flashlights, to "draw" patterns, shapes, and even words in the air during the long exposure. As the camera’s shutter stayed open for an extended period, it captured the path of the light, creating luminous trails and intricate designs against the night or dark background.
Culinary Arts 1 & 2
Students in Culinary Arts 1 & 2 prepared the food for Girls Flag Football Team, Boys Football Team, Hall of Fame Hors d'oeuvres, Homecoming Desserts, and opened the JAR for the Alumni 60th Anniversary Celebration.
