Research shows that students who consistently pass lessons in Imagine Math not only strengthen their foundational math skills but also experience significant improvements in their performance on standardized tests. By mastering 30 lessons, students are not only building confidence in their math abilities but are also laying a solid foundation for success in future assessments.
We are thrilled to see Aiyera's progress and the positive impact it will have on her academic growth. Reaching 30 lessons is no small feat, and it’s a clear indicator of her commitment to learning and improving. This milestone helps reinforce the importance of consistent effort, problem-solving skills, and perseverance.

Kindergarteners Complete a Colorful Project!
Our Kindergarten students recently completed an exciting and colorful project that brought creativity and fun into the classroom. The project allowed them to explore color, develop fine motor skills, and express themselves artistically—all while having a blast!
Throughout the activity, our young learners were able to experiment with a variety of vibrant colors, mixing and matching them to create beautiful, unique designs. This hands-on project encouraged teamwork, patience, and critical thinking, as the students carefully worked on their creations.
The results were absolutely stunning! Each student’s project reflected their individual personality and creativity, showcasing their growth and imagination. It was wonderful to see how the students applied what they’ve been learning in class to create something so beautiful.
This colorful project not only helped reinforce basic concepts like color recognition and patterns but also gave our Kindergarteners the opportunity to take pride in their work. We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate their efforts and look forward to seeing more of their amazing creations in the future.
A huge shout out to Mrs. Decker and our Kindergarteners for their hard work and creativity—well done!

Reminder to Parents: Please Keep Toys and Personal Items at Home
As we continue to focus on creating a productive and focused learning environment, we’d like to remind everyone of our building policy regarding toys and personal items. While we understand that children are excited to share new holiday items with their friends, we ask that students refrain from bringing personal items (other than school supplies and clothing) to school.
This includes items such as electronics, AirPods, fidget toys, and other personal gadgets. While these items can be fun and engaging at home, they often create distractions in the classroom. When children bring toys or gadgets, it can shift their focus away from learning, leading to disruptions for themselves and their peers.
Additionally, bringing personal items to school increases the risk of those items being lost, broken, or misplaced. When this happens, it often leads to big feelings, frustration, and sometimes conflict between classmates. Rather than spending time on managing these belongings, we want to ensure that our time together is focused on learning and development.
We kindly ask for your support in reinforcing this message with your child. Please remind them that school is a place for learning and sharing ideas, and that personal items are best when they can be enjoyed in an appropriate setting.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Let’s continue to work together to provide the best learning environment possible for all students.

Shop with a Hero Christmas Event: A Heartwarming Experience for Our Students
This holiday season, a couple of our students had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Shop with a Hero Christmas event, organized in partnership with the Eaton County Sheriff's Department. This annual event brings together local heroes—law enforcement officers, fire departments, emergency medical units (EMU), and private citizens—to help bring some holiday cheer to families in need.
Each student was given a $150 gift card to shop for gifts for their families, providing them with the chance to choose thoughtful presents and experience the joy of giving. In addition to the gifts for the children’s families, participating families were also provided with a Christmas dinner box, ensuring that they could enjoy a festive meal together.
We want to extend our heartfelt thank you to the area law enforcement agencies, fire departments, EMU units, and private citizens who generously support and make this event possible every year. Their dedication and community spirit have a profound impact, creating lasting memories for local students and their families.
Thank you again to all those involved in making this special event happen. Your kindness and generosity truly embody the holiday spirit and have made a true difference in the lives of families in our community.
