I am so excited for the 22-23 school year. This year we will have four new teachers including Ms. Maite Alonso (MS Religion/Social Studies), Mrs. Janine Ciapetta (1st grade), Mr. Tom Hollcraft (MS Math/Science) and Ms. Caroline Zlaket (4th grade). Each week we will introduce one of them below.

I have always found young people to be open and willing to learn when feel they are being respected and appreciated for who they are. The expectations in my classroom are high. However, young people make every effort to prove to adults that they can do what is expected as long as they feel encouraged and supported. They are at a great age to open their minds to a world of logic and learn how, in the big picture, it is all divinely inspired. I look forward to inspiring young minds to strive for greatness. They all have the capacity for it.”

Barn Dance is two weeks away and the committee is working hard to make this the best kick off event of the year!! We need to fill some spots for the event please contact Cheryl Behler or Shawna Stienbrecher to sign up for this fun filled event.

Tickets sales will end Aug 22nd, next Monday, so get your tickets soon and come kick your boots up and join in the Doesy Doe for a Yee Haw good time. Dinner will be sold in the gym,

We are asking each class to join in the fun and donate kool-aid jammers. The class with the most boxes donated will WIN donuts in the morning (day chosen by the teacher).

In appreciation of your service to the community, the student council of St. Anthony's Catholic School cordially invites you and your family to be our guest at the Blue Mass on Thursday, September 8th at 9:00 a.m. Following Mass, there will be a reception held in your honor in the school cafeteria.

We thank you for the incredible dedication you have in serving all the people of our community and the tremendous sacrifices you make. We thank you for being there when we need you. We hope you will be able to join us to celebrate you and your families.

It's that time of year again. Candy is needed for the Harvest Festival game booths. The class donating the most candy will receive a pizza party for their class. We are asking for the Child's Play bags (like the one pictured) because they do not include chocolate or gum. Thank you for your help.

Yearbooks are on sale now. Order forms will be coming home on Tuesday or you can order online at www.yearbookordercenter.com and use order number 17565. Prices will go up on September 30th, so get them today!

Girls Basketball - PLAYERS NEEDED

In order to play in CYO we need to fill our teams. Students 3rd through 8th grade, if you are interested, come by the office and pick up a registration form or log into our website and download a form here.

Please email scrip at scrip@sasmanteca.org to place your scrip order or call the school office. Remember to include a contact number. Any items we do not have in stock will automatically be put on backorder unless otherwise stated by you.

Please do not order physical cards through RaiseRight. If you would like physical cards please obtain them from our scrip office.

The online RaiseRight program is an excellent way to earn your Scrip profit on the go! ALL physical cards must be ordered through our Scrip office.

Refer a new family, K-8, (Preschool/PreK classes do not qualify) to St. Anthony's Catholic School, once the family is enrolled - you earn one month's tuition credit to be applied to your FACTS account. The more families you refer, the more credit you earn! The free month of tuition is applied after the new incoming family has been enrolled for a trimester.

*Families MUST include your name in the referral section of the application to ensure you receive credit.
