Message from our Principal
HELLO EAGLE FAMILIES!!
I absolutely LOVE the feel of Fall, even though it doesn't quite "feel" like Fall because of the heat. Continue to send water with your students. The heat is sticking around just a bit longer.
Although, it doesn't quite "feel" like fall, we have lots of fun, fall festivities planned throughout October.
- Thank you to all our families that joined for Family Bingo and Movie night. We had a blast!
- Our candy monsters are STILL hungry. Keep bringing in that candy!
- Our annual Boo Bash is sure to be a fun time for all. See details below.
- Check our Nights of the Jack information below. Student Council will get a 10% donation if you use the code on the flyer.
Congratulations to our 2024-2025 Student Council officers:
Brooklyn Sweeny - Campus Beautification
Grey Belmontes - Spirit Commissioner
Emma Claussen - Technology Chairperson

Gooooooo Eagles!
Get Ready for BOO BASH on Saturday, October 26
Hello Weathersfield Families,
October is here! Our annual Boo Bash Trunk-or-Treat Carnival is right around the corner…Saturday, October 26th from 3:00-6:00 pm. Our amazing PTA is working hard on the details, but they are only a small group of fabulous people. There is no entry fee, so they need your help to make it a successful event. Here are ways in which you can help us out:
- Trunk Decorating: We need to have two (2)-three (3) "TRUNKS" from each class in the designated Trunk or Treat area by 1:30pm on Saturday 10/26/24. Have fun decorating your trunk in a family-friendly Halloween theme and enjoy passing out candy and trinkets to all the trick or treaters! Candy and trinkets will be a collection of donations from all classrooms. They will all be put into a community stash and distributed to the decorated trunks before the event. Sign up below if you would like to participate!

- Help Wanted: We also need volunteers on the day of the event! In order for our Boo Bash to be successful, we are looking for some amazing parents to help us out. No volunteer amount is too small, we will gladly accept help for set-up, balloon decorations, activity volunteers and tear down. (We also sign off on community hours for middle and high schoolers). Use this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0444ADA72DA6F85-51331493-boobash
- Donations: We are asking each family to donate at least one bag of candy or trinkets for this event. There will be very hungry Candy Monsters in each classroom! There are even monsters in the front office and library. They just can’t wait to gobble up those donations! So please families…feed our monsters! Reminder…candy must be individually wrapped, no homemade items and in fully sealed bags.
- Activity Tickets: Entrance is free, but we will have fun activities and raffle baskets where tickets will be taken. We STRONGLY urge you to pre-purchase your tickets. Pre-sale price is $2/ticket. Cost will be $3/ticket day of the event. Activities include: Dunk Tank-2 tickets; Jacob's Ladder-2 tickets; Fortune Teller, Games, Balloons/Tattoos, Punch a Pumpkin, Jail-1 ticket. Raffle Baskets are 1 ticket per entry. You can pick up tickets at the raffle table on the day of the event using your oldest child's name and teacher. PLEASE TEAR OFF TOP PORTION OF RAFFLE TICKET FOR ENTRY AND KEEP THE BOTTOM PORTION AS YOUR TICKET NUMBER RECEIPT. https://www.zeffy.com/ticketing/8c9f8ed3-1e17-4407-b2f2-11e3f9889f02
- Costumes/Trunk Contest: There will be a Best Costume Contest and Best Trunk Contest during the Boo Bash starting at 4:30 pm. Our Eagles are sure to come up with some fantastic costumes and we know our trunks will be amazing!
We can't wait to see you there! Go Eagles!

FRONT OFFICE Volunteers Desired!!
The Front Office would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have a couple volunteers who can help us keep everything running smoothly! Our fun and friendly front office ladies could use a weekly volunteer or two to help them with general office tasks. If interested in "hanging with the ladies" (and helping the front office run more smoothly and efficiently), please inquire in the Front Office or reach out to Jacquie Wright (jwright@conejousd.org) ASAP. Thank you!
