Dear Families,

It is hard to believe December is already here! As we wrap up the calendar year, we are filled with gratitude for the joy, curiosity, and growth we have seen in your children over the past few months. Thank you for sharing them with us and for being such an important part of our school community.

Enrollment is in full swing and we have had an amazing turnout from the community. Many of our classrooms are already full for the 2025/2026 school year! If you still have not registered for next year please contact Dianne with any questions you might have. Thank you for continuing to make St. Michael's your home for your child's early childhood education.

You may have noticed that construction has expanded to the front parking lot. We appreciate your flexibility with the changes to carline and your understanding during this fluid project. Construction is set to be completed by the end of March. Unfortunately, due to rain, the date was pushed back.

We will be opening the old entrance off of Sharp Rd. for our carline starting on Monday. We ask that you drive slowly as there are many workers on site and we do not want anyone to get hurt.

Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. we will hold a coffee and chat at 9:00 a.m. with the Head of School, Rector, and two members of our school board. Come have coffee with us, we would love to get to know you better and answer any questions you might have.

Breakfast with Santa will take place this Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Tickets were sold in advance and unfortunately are not available at the door. Please park in the new parking lot and proceed to the check in table located by the church door. Barberito photography will be on hand to take Santa pictures in the church sanctuary at an additional cost. Breakfast will be served inside the PLC and there will also be a face painting table and craft table for the kiddos. Santa will also make an appearance to read to the children. We cannot wait to celebrate the morning with you!

Santa's Silent Auction has already begun! Please click on the following link to view items and bid! https://www.32auctions.com/SMEPS2024 This auction has been a tradition of St. Michael's Episcopal School and proceeds directly benefit the faculty and staff. There are some wonderful items that were donated by our community as well as the parents. Please share the link with families and friends! The auction ends Saturday at 11:30 a.m. All baskets will be on display during the Christmas programs and Breakfast with Santa.

School will have an early dismissal on Friday, December 20th at 11:00 a.m. There is no aftercare this day. School will be closed for the Christmas break December 23 - January 6. SCHOOL RESUMES TUESDAY JANUARY 7th. Have a wonderful and safe break!

December 21, 2024 Blue Christmas Service 5:00 p.m. The holidays can be difficult for some and this service is a wonderful healing service during the holidays

December 24, 2024 4:00 p.m. Children's Christmas Eve Service. All children are welcome to participate in the nativity during this service

December 24, 2024 6:00 p.m. Traditional Christmas Eve Service. All are welcome, you do not need to be an Episcopalian to attend!

We would love for your family to join us for a church service. There are two services to choose from, a 9:00 a.m. and a 10:30 a.m. service. Childcare is provided but you are more than welcome to have the children in church! Sunday School occurs during the 10:30 service for 3yr/olds - 5th graders. On the first Sunday of each month we serve breakfast in between the services. You do not need to be an Episcopalian to attend our services, all are welcome. Please reach out to Fr.
