Picture Day for Underclassmen 8/22
WHO: Students in 9th through 11th grade will be participating in our annual school photo day.
WHEN: Students will be escorted to the gym during their English classes. Students with an English course off campus may report to the gym at any time.
*Students who are not in dress code will not be eligible to be photographed.

Homecoming Information 9/9-9/14
Homecoming Dance:
Homecoming tickets are officially on sale on RYCOR! Our dance will be held on September 14 from 7-11 pm. Be sure to buy them before the price increase in September. Students must also sign an agreement form. Scan the QR code for more information.

Students, get ready for a great dress up week to kick off our homecoming celebration! Start planning your dress up outfits early! Please note, Friday we are incorporating class colors into our season theme. Look out for a message from your class sponsor!
Interested in Joining the Military?
Juniors and seniors interested in joining the military, sign up today to take the ASVAB assessment on September 5, 2024! This test will be held in the media center at 7:10 AM. CLICK HERE to sign up.
College Application Meeting
If your senior is getting ready to apply to a university, this parent meeting is for you. Join our career specialist, Mrs. Adley, in the cafeteria on August 29 at 6 pm to go over the college application process. Learn about common app, SSAR, and more!
GENERAL INFORMATION
Are you teaching your child to drive?
Driving Practice: If your child has a restricted license and you’re practicing driving with them, please do not enter the car line. Park in the back of the Student Parking lot near the Basketball Courts for a smooth and safe transition & apply for a Student Driver Pass, CLICK HERE to access the Student Driver page. Look for the blue Student Driver application at the bottom of the page.
Bring Your Own Device
Students are encouraged and permitted to bring their personal laptops or tablets to school for daily use. There is no form to complete, etc...Students simply are permitted to bring these devices to school to use for their school work.
Per School Board Policy 5136.01, the district assumes no responsibility for the theft, loss, damage or vandalism to electronic equipment and devices brought onto its property, or the unauthorized use of such devices.
Clubs and Student Groups
Interested in starting a student group?
- Find a Sponsor: Get a staff member to sponsor or supervise your club/group.
- Act Quickly: Encourage your teachers to support your interests.
- Application Deadline: Staff must complete the application by Friday, August 30th.

Dual Enrollment Update
Please review the below Dual Enrollment updates for Fall 2024.
- Fall Dual Enrollment textbook pick-up dates can be found on the flyer below. If your student is enrolled in a DE course on our campus (ENC or CRIMINAL JUSTICE) he/she does not need to complete the form.
ACTION REQUIRED:
Schedule Change for DE Courses
Once students have completed registration for off-campus DE courses (either taking the course on a PHSC campus, online through PHSC, or DE through Pasco eSchool), you must provide your School Counselor with a copy of your PHSC schedule (your name must be visible) before your high school schedule will be adjusted for PHSC placeholders. CLICK THIS LINK as this must be completed within 24 hours of registration. Please know we do not arrange your high school schedule to accommodate your PHSC schedule. If you have any questions, please contact your School Counselor.
Medication Drop-Off
Please call the clinic OR email Elena Herrera (Clinic Assistant), or Allison Heck (School Nurse) at 813-346-4405 to set up an appointment for medication drop off. Medication will not be accepted if brought in by your child.
Refunds
Did you pay fees for a class your child no longer has on their schedule? Not to worry! Simply email our Bookkeeper, Lorraine McKinney, and she will get your reimbursement to you!

School Advisory Council (SAC)
Cypress Creek High School is looking for community members, parents & students to join the School Advisory Committee. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!
School Advisory Councils are peer-elected, collaborative teams comprised of family members, the school administration, teachers or other school-based staff, students, and community members. SACs champion the work for improved student achievement, parent and community engagement in the educational process, and communication and support between home and school. We appreciate your support as we "GET TO" work together towards the success of our school community. Due to updates with the District's volunteer requirements, all community SAC members (parents, community members, etc.) must complete a background check. Please review the District's Volunteer website as it will explain the requirements, fee, etc.

Student Parking
- Cost: $40
- Requirements: Current driver’s license, insurance, registration, and completed application form.
- Parking Pass: Mandatory for all student drivers.
- Monitoring: Lots are monitored by the Criminal Justice Academy.
- Enforcement: Students without passes after the 2nd week will be ticketed and may be towed.
- Location: Park only in the student lot by the gym, in your assigned spot.

**Visit the Student Parking Table at lunches during the first week of school, once all of your documents have been submitted and your fee has been paid, to pick up your parking tag & receive your assigned parking spot.
Students may park in any parking spot in the student parking lot that is not painted until August 23rd. After this date, student must only park in their assigned parking spot.

For information on individual tests, please visit the assessment page of the CCHS website or the district ARM website. Student testing locations will be uploaded to the QR code found on the testing flyer in CCHS classrooms and the courtyard on the morning of testing. Dates, times, and locations are subject to change.
CLT Score Reporting
CLT at home scores are not automatically added for CCHS students. If you child took CLT over the summer, please send score reports to ktitus@pasco.k12.fl.us so they may be uploaded to mystudent and we can remove students from testing rosters.
