The interschool sports events are always hotly contested. Today had a gloomy weather forecast of lightning and thunder and heavy rain. BUT.. the beautiful weather prevailed. All teams performed excellently. The Rugby team had their hands full playing Bell Block and showed commitment and perseverance to score. Netball was a true challenge and the players gave it their all. Bell block put up one heck of a fight. Not to be out done, the Football was intense with other teams battling it out for supremacy while tackling the muddy, wet, bogg field. All in all a great day for all teams and a beautiful day for our first Inter School exchange. Here's to the next one! A massive thanks to the parent supporters that made it out to Bell Block to support and cheer our tamariki on!

Student Led Conferences are Wednesday 6 July 3:15 - 5:30pm and then again Thursday 7 July 12.15 - 8pm.

On Thursday 7 July we would appreciate those of you who can to have your children picked up at 11.50am, so teachers can be released for interviews. For those parents who cannot arrange this, we have the capacity to have some children supervised until 3pm. Please let the office.

Each interview is 15 minutes long. Please ensure you arrive on time to each interview.

Booking your interviews

1. Go to parentinterviews.co.nz, enter the event code HPEQ2YQK (Wednesday 6 July) and 3MXA44E8 (Thursday 7 July) click Go.
2. Enter your name, email address and the names of the students you wish to make bookings for.
3. Select the teachers you'd like to book by ticking the checkbox beside their name, and then click the Book Interviews button at the bottom of the page.
4. Using the timetable, click the Book button beside the time slot you'd like to book for the teacher. You'll be asked to confirm your booking.
5. Continue until you've booked all teachers.

Once you're finished, you can view your timetable by clicking My Interviews at the top of the page. You can also print a PDF timetable to take to your interviews.

Before your interviews, you'll receive an email reminder containing your timetable. If you need to cancel any interviews, you can do so by following the link in the email you received when you first signed up.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Mel Cook, Marie Pearce and the members of the Inglewood Community Board for their drive and determination in successfully negotiated with Waka Kotahi to install a controlled pedestrian crossing on Rata Street. The design concept which was collaborated on by key members of multiple agencies together with iwi and hapu~will be fabulous once completed. We here at IPS on behalf of our whānau who have to cross SH3 twice daily to get to and from school, truly thank you.

Expressions of Interest for Out of Zone Enrolments for Term 3 are now open. If you would like an application form, please email office@inglewood.school.nz or go to our website and look for the Expressions of Interest Form. Applications close 27 June for a Term 3 start. We have 20 places across year 1- 8 available.

We are getting ready to plan for 2023. If you or you know of anyone, wishing to enrol their child at Inglewood Primary School, please get them to email the Office with the child's name, date of birth, parent's name and contact number, so we can put them on our pre-enrolment list. This is for both IN ZONE and OUT of Zone Enrolments
