Welcome to March Madness! As we approach the end of the school year, things can feel overwhelming—cramming in those last bits of knowledge while preparing for assessments like WIN, EOC, and iReady is no easy task. However, I want you to know that as your Superintendent, I support you and want to see you succeed.

To our dedicated staff, you are the heart of our schools. Your passion, hard work, and unwavering support shape futures and strengthen our community. To our students, you are the reason we do this. Your curiosity, determination, and growth inspire us every day. And to our families and community partners, your involvement and belief in our schools make all the difference. Together, we are creating opportunities, overcoming challenges, and building a stronger district.

With that in mind, prioritizing health and wellness is just as important as academic success. That’s why I am excited to introduce our first Wellness Day on March 21st. I don’t want you to burn out before the finish line—we must refuel, recharge, and take care of ourselves. We cannot burn from both ends of the candle.

I am so proud of the progress we have made together. We’ve seen growth in iReady and Benchmark assessments and are continuously working toward our goals. Even when you feel discouraged, remember—slow progress, is still progress. Let’s keep pushing forward so that our scholars can thrive and we can rebuild our district, stronger and better than before.

Ms. Penn has been chosen as the Staff Highlight for February for her commitment and dedication throughout the year. She plays many roles in our district and is always willing to help, in any capacity.You can always count on Ms. Penn. Without a doubt she is a beautiful employee both inside and out!
