Kids Need to Read Books Donation
The grants department is happy to announce that Gadsden Elementary School will be receiving a book donation from Kids Need to Read, a non profit organization focus on instilling a love for literacy within public schools. The donation includes 100 library books as well as 480 books for classroom libraries. Thank you Kids Need to Read for this generous donation!
School Violence Prevention Program (SVPP) Department for Justice Federal Grant
The grants and Technology Department collaborated in the application process for this highly competitive federal grant, that will allow us to expand our mass communication and school bus safety measures using state of the art technology. We are ecstatic to announce that our school district has been awarded $469,058. This is a three year grant that will focus on school safety and school violence prevention.
21st Century Department✨
The Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Title IV-B program is funded by a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Education and administered by the Arizona Department of Education. For more information visit: http://www.azed.gov/21stcclc/

A huge shoutout to Walmart for donating supplies for the School Gardening Program.
Salvation Army Christmas Program; Angel Tree
Our school district will have 36 families who will be receiving this donation. The Parent Liaisons will assist by identifying the families in need.
