Pre-K and Kindergarten Parents,
With the cooler temperatures lately, please make sure you are sending your child to school with an extra change of clothing in their backpack that is weather appropriate.
Campus Procedures for Electronic Devices
At Bear Branch Elementary School, we recognize and embrace the benefits of personal technology devices and understand that families rely on them for communication and safety. However, it is important to ensure these devices do not interfere with the learning environment while children are at school. Therefore, we have implemented the following campus procedures based on district policy regarding the use of electronic devices while on campus:
1. Personal electronic devices, including cell phones and smartwatches, should be silenced and kept in a student's backpack while on campus.
2. If a parent or guardian needs to contact their student for any reason during the school day, please call the receptionist at (281) 356-4771.
3. A school-issued device will be available to students throughout the day when needed for educational purposes. Students should utilize these devices instead of their personal electronic devices.
4. It is the responsibility of the student to take care of their personal electronic device. Staff members, Bear Branch Elementary School, and/or the Magnolia Independent School District are not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen electronic devices.
We kindly request that all parents and students adhere to these campus procedures in order to maintain a focused and productive learning environment.
Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring that our students have the best learning experience at Bear Branch Elementary School.
