100 Days Smarter!
A Note from Mr. Signor
Parents and Guardians -
As many of you are aware we are having some changes in our main office. It is important to remember that during this transition and moving forward all individuals attempting to pick up students are required to provide proper identification in order to sign out a student early.
Thanks, Mr. Signor.

5th Grade
Thursday, 2/20 at 6:00 p.m. 5th Grade Camp Meeting with Teachers. After, the 5th Grade Parent planning committee will meet in the library. All 5th Grade Parents/Guardians are invited to attend.
Drop Off & Pick Up Procedures
Students must arrive and dismiss through their assigned classroom locations.
School begins at 8:40 a.m. everyday, unless noted otherwise. Arrival doors remain open until 8:50 a.m. After 8:50, students must enter through the front office and sign in with Mrs. Clary. Students will be considered tardy and marked as such.
School ends at 3:05pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and at 2:15pm on Wednesday. Students will dismiss out of their assigned location (classroom doors, side hallway doors, etc.) every day, regardless of time or weather. On designated half days, students are dismissed at 11:45am.
Furthermore, we would like to emphasize that vehicles are not permitted to park on the school side of Colson Road that is marked with "No Parking" signs and yellow curb paint. This is crucial for maintaining a safe environment for our students during drop off and pick up times.
Additionally, we would like to remind everyone that Colson Road, School Lane, and Taylor Avenue operate as one-way streets from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. It is important to adhere to this rule to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and the safety of all individuals
Attendance Policy
When your child is out sick, please call the TAP line (610-534-1900) with the date and your students name. Calling this attendance line does not excuse the child from school. Calling the number acknowledges that you are aware of the absence.
Please send in an absence note the following day or email (Wood_attendance@ridleysd.org). A doctor's note is required for 3 or more consecutive days absent.
If your student is on a planned trip, please see Mrs. Clary for the vacation approval form.
After 10 absences (excused or unexcused) only a doctor's note is accepted to excuse the absences.
A Note from the Nurse
Also, dental examination forms are also due for Kindergarten and 3rd grade students.
All forms must be current (within the last year).
If you need a form, please let me know and I will send one home with your student.
