Counseling Update

MCIS (MN Career Information System)

MCIS is a great website to help students prepare for their future career. Students can take career interest inventories, research majors and programs, learn more about the skills and training required for specific careers, study for the ACT and other national tests, and search for scholarships. Students have worked on their grade level career plan tasks during Advisory throughout the school year. The Counseling Office is offering MCIS Support Elk Times on the dates below for students who still need to complete their grade level checklist or would like more time to explore the career resources on MCIS. You can also visit Mrs. Davison in the Career Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00-7:30 AM for more assistance. Students log into MCIS through their RapidIdentity Go! portal.

A guest speaker from SCSU will highlight key facts about the nursing profession, outline daily nursing tasks and responsibilities, and explore various nursing career pathways and opportunities for advancement. Sign up for this Elk Time under Mrs. Davison’s name.
