News and Notes from the Principal
Happy FriYay!
Having two full weeks together brings a welcome consistency and the chance to follow through on tasks more smoothly. I hope you've all enjoyed the positive energy, focus and maybe earlier bed times from your students that comes with this time together—it's amazing how much more achievable our goals feel when we can connect like this! With the end of October, we welcome Red Ribbon Week and the excitement truly being Drug Free Brings; I hope you encourage your children to engage, have fun and embrace these times together.
The semester will quickly wind down once November starts. I encourage you to check in on your students grades, attendance and engagement- engagement is the one factor where we've seen the greatest differences made for our students. If you need help accessing PowerSchool to get a real-time picture of where your child stands; please reach out to our school registrars: Erin Allen (eallen@bryan.k12.ga.us) or Kerri Whitley (kwhitley@bryan.k12.ga.us). If you are looking for connectivity options for your child, look no further - Click Here.
As we pass the halfway mark of the first semester, I invite you to complete our 'Heard on The Hill' Feedback Form. This form not only fosters ongoing reflection but also gathers valuable, unobtrusive insights from our stakeholders to help us continuously improve Richmond Hill High School. If you share your thoughts, I’ll personally follow up with you—thank you for your input!
As you look ahead and plan your family time ahead, keep in mind that our students will be away from school on Monday, November 11, 2024 & November 25-November 29, 2024.
To end the week with a burst of excitement, check out this Staff Hype Video! A huge thank you to everyone for being a part of this, and a special shout-out to Ms. Perani for using her talents and creativity to bring some extra fun to the mix! This is just a small glimpse into the fun that our staff has as we work together to improve the outcomes for our students!
Enjoy the weekend ahead - Rest, relax and recharge for a strong October finish!
See ya, Love ya, Bye!
