School Improvement Plan 24-25
School Improvement Plan 24-25
Our school is chasing a commitment to understanding the diverse needs of students and implementing strategies that promote inclusivity and fairness while providing academic excellence.
We commit to:
1. excellent instruction through universal use of three of our nine LSSD instructional strategies
2. strengthening the effectiveness of our Collaborative Educator teams
3. achieving equitable outcomes for each student through effective use of Student Growth Goals
Within our commitments, we will:
- Provide differentiated instruction, targeted interventions, and creating a supportive environment that values every student’s background and potential.
- Collaborate among educators, families and communities which are essential to ensuring that all students have access to the tools they need to succeed.
- Regularly analyze student performance data to inform teaching practices and involve students in their monitoring of their progress with a growth mindset.
By committing to these things, we will achieve the following:
Reading: 75% of students will be at grade level or higher on the spring SBA and iReady assessments increasing from our iReady fall diagnostic of 42% and our spring SBA of 61% in 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
Math: 75% of students will be at grade level or higher on the spring SBA and iReady assessments increasing from our iReady fall diagnostic of 26% and our spring SBA of 63% in 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
Sense of Belonging: 75% of our students will have a strong sense of belonging as measured by our self created survey given in the winter and spring. This survey is in addition to the Panorama survey we will also utilize.
We will monitor our progress during the year through:
Use of common assessment tools within the district curriculum in literacy and math, examined by our Collaborative Educator Teams.
Our PBIS team will monitor and respond to behavior referral data at least monthly and we will adjust our practices and re-teach expectations as needed.
- We will gain student buy in by continuing to gather student feedback for our whole school celebrations.
Our Tier One Strategies -- we commit to excellent instruction through the universal use of
Morning meeting
Co-created norms
Small group instruction
Collaborative Educator Team Work
Our collaborative educator teams will establish grade level agreements to ensure students are getting similar experiences across a grade level by design rather than by chance.
Our teams will examine data and develop tier one and classroom based tier two instruction to support students.
We will achieve equitable outcomes for students using Student Growth Goals......
By using our adopted curriculum.
By reviewing disaggregated data to provide intentional supports for students.
