PRONGHORN PACERS KICKS OFF OCTOBER 4
Our Pronghorn Pacers Running Club will kick off on Wednesday, October 4th. We are excited to get running and have lots of surprises in store. I will be sharing this with students in the upcoming weeks, but in the meantime... I am looking for some parent volunteers that would be willing to help from 2:15-3:15 on Wednesdays and Fridays. During this time, you would be monitoring students running and making sure their badges are getting scanned correctly.
If you are interested, please click on the volunteer button below to fill out the form. I will be in contact with you when the schedule is finalized. Thank you in advance for all your support.

#PRONGHORNSTRONG
Congratulations to this group of students who received recognition for being a great example of what is means to be a PVE Pronghorn. These students were caught either modeling a school-wide expectation or showing ownership for their learning. Way to be #PronghornStrong!
NEW CELEBRATION ALERT
If your child is selected, you will receive a personal invitation from your child's teacher inviting you to join us on the given date of the celebration. (This event will last for no more than 30 minutes, and our staff will join for the first 5-10 minutes to celebrate together before letting you and your child enjoy.)
We are looking forward to the first celebration the end of this month!
PICTURE DAY
Fall is here, and it is once again time to start thinking about school portraits. Parker Portraits will be at PVE for picture day on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
The information to order pictures online is in Friday Folders TODAY. This will allow you to preordering picture packets. Preordered packets must be submitted by the end of the day, September 28. Any picture packet orders after September 28th will be subject to shipping and handling charges.
Please remember that each packet contains a specific code for each child. Should you lose this code and need support for any reason, please contact the front office at 208-350-4490.

Need To Make A Change In How Your Child Gets Home? Checking Out a Student?
Please get in touch with the office before 3:00 for any last-minute changes at the end of the day, so we have plenty of time to communicate with staff members. (If preplanned, please email both the teacher and office.)
If you are coming in at the end of the day to check out a student, please note we will not call students down after 3:45 pm. They are already cleaning up and transitioning for release at the end of the day.
Thank you for being so understanding!
Emergency Safety Drills
Dear PVE Families,
At Pleasant View, the safety and welfare of our students and staff are our highest priority, which is why we teach and practice safety drills throughout the school year. On October 4, the Meridian Police Department will join us in conducting a lockdown drill. These drills allow us to evaluate our plans and improve our response skills. Please do not be alarmed if you see several police vehicles in our parking lot during the drill.
If you have any questions or need further information about our safety drills, please feel free to contact us. We thank you in advance for your support in this matter.
Sincerely,
Amy Senethavilay, Principal
